Solid Oak Console Table – Handmade Oak Hallway / Display Unit

Handmade from solid oak, this beautiful console table/display unit is designed and made by us in our UK workshop.

Made from approximately 22mm thick solid oak throughout, with a simple, timeless design that allows the natural character and grain of the timber to stand out. Each piece is individually handmade rather than mass-produced, so there will naturally be slight variations in grain and colour.

The lower shelf provides additional storage or display space, making the unit suitable for a hallway, living room, dining room, bedroom or anywhere you need a narrow piece of solid wood furniture.

Solid Oak

This unit is made from real solid oak – no MDF, veneer or chipboard. We carefully select our timber and avoid major defects such as large knots and cracks wherever possible.

Finish

The oak can be finished with natural hardwax oil, which protects the timber while enhancing the natural colour and grain of the oak and leaving a beautiful natural-looking finish.

Flat-Pack Delivery

The unit is supplied flat-packed for safer and more economical delivery.

All required screws and fixings for assembling the unit are included. Assembly is straightforward, and the individual components are prepared and test-fitted in our workshop before dispatch.

Handmade to Order

Every unit is individually handmade in our workshop. Please allow for small natural variations in grain, tone and character – these are part of what makes every piece of solid oak furniture unique.

The photographs show the actual style and construction of the unit, including pictures taken both in our workshop and in a home setting, so you can get a better idea of how the finished piece looks in a room.

If you require a different width, height or depth, please get in touch. As we manufacture these ourselves, custom sizes may be available on request.

Delivery Access

It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure:

  • Clear and safe access for delivery

  • The table will fit through doorways, stairwells, and lifts

Failed or refused deliveries due to access issues may incur additional charges.

Damage in Transit

Please inspect the item upon delivery.
Any damage must be reported within 24 hours of receipt, with clear photographs of the packaging and item.

🔁 Returns, Refunds & Custom Order Policy

📦 Right to Cancel (Standard Orders)

You are entitled to cancel your order within 30 days without giving any reason.

The cancellation period expires 30 days from:

  • The day you receive the goods, or

  • The day a third party (other than the courier) takes possession of the product.

💳 Refunds

  • Refunds will be issued within 30 days of receiving the returned goods

  • Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for purchase

  • No additional fees will be charged for the refund

We may refuse a refund if returned goods do not meet the return conditions.

📦 Return Conditions (Standard Items Only)

To be eligible for a return, items must:

  • Be purchased within the last 30 days

  • Be returned in their original packaging

❌ Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Goods made to order or personalised

  • Goods that cannot be returned due to hygiene or health protection reasons (if unsealed)

  • Goods that are inseparably mixed with other items after delivery

  • Goods that are perishable or have an expiry date

🪵 Custom & Made-to-Order Items

Each item is made to order and crafted specifically for you.

For this reason, returns and exchanges are not accepted, unless the item arrives damaged or faulty.

❌ Cancellations for Custom Orders

  • Orders may be cancelled within 48 hours of purchase, provided production has not started

  • Once materials have been ordered or production has begun, the order cannot be cancelled

🚚 Damage or Faults

Please inspect your item immediately upon delivery.

If your item arrives damaged or has a manufacturing fault:

  • Contact us within 24 hours of delivery

  • Provide clear photographs of the item and packaging

Once confirmed, we will offer:

  • Repair

  • Replacement

  • Refund

(depending on the situation)

Natural variations in:

are not considered defects. These are part of the natural beauty of handcrafted wood products.

📏 Delivery Access Issues

Returns are not accepted if delivery fails due to insufficient access (e.g. narrow doorways, stairs, lifts, or restricted entry points).

If the item was marked as a gift:
